When can my child attend pre-school or nursery?
In pre-school or playgroup, children can usually attend from the half term in which they are three. Some pre-schools and playgroups are registered to take children from two years. For nurseries attached to primary schools, please contact the individual school for start dates
How much will it cost?
This will depend on the pre-school or nursery and for how many sessions your child will be attending. If your child is three or four years of age, they will be entitled to a free place.
Is there any help with paying fees?
Three- and four-year-olds are entitled to some free places. See your day nursery, pre-school, playgroup or heatlh visitor for details.
